superb pano and I love how realistic the colors look. I'm just so pleased that I have a decent new monitor to view them on because my older one blows the highlights out. Again, terrific colors. I hope someday to make it over in your neck of the woods.

Totally right. Between watching the mini series band of brothers and looking at all of you austria photos, I just really want to come to Austria and do a bunch of hiking. What is the average height above sea level you do most of your shooting at? Or does it vary that much?

:iconandreasresch:
AndreasResch Featured By Owner Dec 23, 2010  Professional Photographer
I'd say the typical height is between 1500 and 2500 meters above sea level.

Oh wow. So what is the base of the Matterhorn (sp) at?

The Matterhorn is in Switzerland - the lakes around it are at about 2500 to 2800m.

Really? I don't know why but I just thought that most of the terrain was much higher than that. What are some of the highest areas you've shot at?

So far the highest place I've been was around the Matterhorn. The peaks there are over 4000m and the places we have visited are around 3100m.
