Geisler Spitzen - Dolomites

After we arrived up here thick fog closed in and we spent the whole evening sitting in front of our tents seeing nothing. I hoped that the fog would clear over night and on the next morning we had this situation.

Had forgotten to ask, do you use the holder when using both the CPL and the GND? or do you handhold?
I tend to handhold (although sometimes it pisses me off, especially when strong winds are blowing) which works way faster! :)

I handhold the GND all the time - with or without the CPL. I only use the holder when I do longer exposures or when I'm close to water where I have to clean it then and now.

Yap me to :)
I was lucky because my first 0.6 and 0.9 GND's had small marks (not viewable on the shots) and I had them replaced (kept the old ones) by new ones, so I got 2 GND's actually which I can use on the fields without minding if the get dirty or anything.
Although people tend to over react with cleaning, I see the GND's can withstand pretty much anything without any evident problems :)
P.S I also modified a bit the last submission, recablibrated the monitor and I saw they where a bit oversaturated.

Yeah ... got my GNDs for a while now too. Little scratches aren't bad, smearing might not be the best, but that can be cleaned. I always have a ton of cleaning cloths with me.
