Because of the many fluffly couds, the sun came and went away all the time. At some point the leaves here were illuminated while the hill behind them was still in shadow.

The impact of that scene would have been absolutely stunning. Not that the overall scene isn't. It's just that to me the real impact was in the lower part. You are taking some breathtaking photographs. I hope the inspiration stays with you.
