This has wonderful tonal quality, dynamic range, and fine detail. The composition is exquisite. Beautiful work.

I see you used a Graduated Neutral Density 0.6 Soft lens filter. I usually recommend to newer photographers that if they can only afford one Graduated Neutral Density filter, a 0.6 hard is a good choice. I suppose, ideally you would have one hard and one soft, but if there are severe budget restraints, which would you recommend having, the Hard, or the Soft, and do you agree that a 0.6 is a good choice as well?

I would go for the "Hard" rather than the "Soft". I use them more often - they are also better when you go to longer focal lengths. The 0.6 and the 0.9 are good - depends on what you usually shoot. So you're perfectly right to suggest the "0.6 Hard" - this one will be used a lot.

Yeah ... it's filled with details. My Tamron was a good lens.

Have you ever tested the 17-35 Tamron on the 5D?

Nope. I only had the 28-75mm f/2.8 - this one was awesome.
