Spring Awakening

The gorge at Mixnitz is about to wake up this year. The snow and ice is gone and the ladders are being prepared for the opening on May 1st.
This fall is the first one you see when you enter the actual gorge. The shot was taken from one of the ladders. It's a manual blend of 3 exposures.
