After over two months of being at the desk without nature photography I can't wait for Thursday to start my "autumn time" of photography. I've got about 3 weeks to hike around the Alps and enjoy the wonderful colors of this time of year. I will start off with a week long of fun in the Dolomites - an area that I've never visited before. This shot was taken almost exactly one year ago at the Gosau lakes, which also are on my hike list for the upcoming weeks. Let's all have a great fall and wonderful light and colors.

This is at the corner of Styria and Upper Austria. The peak ahead there is the "Dachstein". This lake is one of the most beautiful and easy accessible in Austria - always worth a trip.
