I really like the compo from this low pov, but the light as you have mentioned is very diffused, lacking in any shadows, and contrast.

Very nice picture, Andreas. I like the composition and how the peak on the left is balanced by the higher trees on the lower right. First, I thought, well, that can't be from this year already, and indeed so. The lack of shadow mentioned by Stephen is stunning.

The light was incredibly diffuse - the original had even less contrast and shadows. I had to raise them a little to get some depth.
