We are finally back from our trip to the Dolomites and we had a blast. The weather was good, though we wished that the sunset and sunrises were a little more spectacular. I have many images to process now and I can only deal with a few of them as we are leaving for the mountains again soon. It was quite hard to chose which one to process first, but finally I went for this one as it's from the beginning of the trip and so it makes a nice start. This shot is take a little below the "Tre Cime di Lavaredo looking back to where we were coming from. The spiky peak in the foreground is the "Einserkofel" , behind covered in clouds you can see the "Elferkofel". The fog was closing in very quickly and by the time we arrived at the winter shelter, the "Tre Cime" itself were covered in fog and we had to wait till about midnight to see them for the first time. This is a combination of two images for a better tonal range.
